Group Tours and Fun Farm
Buzzing Bees Adventure Farm Fall Tours for 2023 start September 11th and run weekdays until October 29th.
During your visit, each school or group will be given a scheduled time to visit our 1375 sq/ft Geodesic Dome. This will include an educational discussion on how this unique structure allows us to grow plants all year round without external power sources, as well as, a lesson on different plant growth topics.
Classes will also have time to enjoy our activities, have snacks and explore the farm in small groups.
*activities during school visits include:*
In planning your school tour, it is recommended that you have at least 1 supervisor per 5 students. Please note there is no cost for parents, volunteers, teachers or EAs'. If you are booking for more than one class, please bear in mind that a maximum of 30 people can be accommodated in the Dome at one time. For groups greater than 30, please determine how the classes are to be split for multiple dome tours. Our farm operates in all weather, please dress accordingly. Should you choose to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate your tour for a different day, but we do book rain dates in advance. Please make sure to include a phone number that we can reach you at in the evening or early in the morning.
When booking, we ask for your numbers of student, volunteer and teachers. We understand that they may fluctuate slightly between now and the date of the tour. We can work with slight variations and confirm your exact numbers closer to the date of your tour – however we do ask for you best approximation in order to help us plan your trip to the farm.
The cost for the group is $7 per student with a minimum charge of 20 students . To book contact us at BuzzingBeesAdventureFarm@outlook.com or 905-409-4626
